把人組織起來,為實現共同目標,共同合作,把事做對,更把事情做好。這是我們社會福利行政或說社會工作行政所關切的目標。從大一二開始,同學們學了許多基本的知識,但關切的焦點大致著眼於個人與團體的層次,到了大三我們要把這些能力綜合起來,而「學做事」大致上可以用來作為綜合這些能力以及學這門課的註腳。在本課程中,我們要試著從表、裡兩層掌握行政的要義。表層是我們常見的(也是標準教科書所教授的);裡層則是內在於我們華人文化的種種東西;學做事,做對事,把事做好,我們必需同時掌握上述表裡。Group people together to achieve common goals, work together, do things right, and do things well.
