在這門課程中，學生將學習國際關係的基本理論，特別是描述國家在衝突發生前行為的理論。學生還將學習如何通過前人的研究方法將案例中的數據量化，以支持這些理論。此外，學生將了解這些學術發展如何開啟當代對國際組織建立的討論，以及如何應用於當前國家與非國家行為體之間的非傳統衝突中。

This course covers two main areas: one is the basic theories of international relations and the model of conflicting processes; the other focuses on the application of these theories, including how to dataize these concepts and choose reasonable methods to measure the various variables mentioned in the theory.

This course aims to reflect international relations theories mediated in the introductory course, including realism, new realism, liberalism and neoliberalism, and extend these understandings to a more objective and measured level, thereby supporting more serious social science research.

In this course, students will learn the basic theories of international relations, especially those describing the behavior of a country before a conflict occurs. Students will also learn how to quantify data in cases through previous research methods to support these theories. Furthermore, students will understand how these academic developments initiate contemporary discussions on the establishment of international organizations and how they can be applied to the non-traditional conflict between current national and non-state behavior.
