教育目標 Course Target

地理資訊系統(Geographic Information systems, GIS)結合資訊科學、空間科學與地圖學的一門學問,而發展出的資料處理系統,可透過電腦對空間資料進行輸入、儲存、查詢、分析和顯示,被廣泛的用在景觀規劃、設計與景觀資源調查的空間資訊分析與資訊管理,使用GIS支援景觀規劃與設計的設計方式稱為地景設計(Geodesign),講求運用數據與資料為設計與規劃的決策提供科學論述的基礎。電腦科技的進步與數位資料庫的擴充,使得GIS在空間分析與規劃決策上更形重要。本課程為介紹GIS之基本概念、原理、技術及其在景觀規劃與設計之應用,輔以ArcGIS空間分析軟體之實際操作,協助使學生具體明瞭地理資訊系統在景觀規劃之空間資料收集與分析。Geographic Information Systems (GIS) combines information science, spatial science and cartography to develop a data processing system that can input, store, query, analyze and display spatial data through computers. This course introduces the basic concepts, principles, technologies and applications of GIS in landscape planning and design. It is supplemented by the practical operation of ArcGIS spatial analysis software to help students understand the spatial data collection and analysis of geographic information systems in landscape planning.


課程概述 Course Description

自遠古時代起,地圖忠實著記載地表資訊,讓人們瞭解到地表的環境與資源,對於人類文明的發展扮演著重要的角色;時至今日,科技的發展與資訊的傳播,使地圖的需求及應用更趨多元。應用電腦科技製圖,已經成為環境資源調查分析的一大重點。 而數位地圖的技術,結合各個專業領域及資訊科學,發展成地理資訊系統(GIS);除了能快速製作地圖之外,可運用電腦科技將地表環境資源加以整合、分析,並提出人們對於地表資源經營管理及空間決策之機制,達成永續發展的目標。 近年來,地理資訊的發展更趨多元化,從地理學、景觀、水土保持、都計、資訊科學、環境資源、交通等領域均有許多地理資訊的應用方向;而最新的發展方向,則是強調各種現象之空間性,透過空間概念將實質現象加以轉化、分析,並加以整合運用。 對於地表景觀之應用,也是一項重要的課題;景觀領域之議題包羅萬象,均與空間現象有關;因此本課程將透過地理資訊之基礎理論概念、功能及應用實例之解說,配合網路GIS資源介紹,使學生瞭解GIS的概念及應用方向,並從實作中學習操作分析的技術;同時能應用網路上的GIS資源輔助GIS之實務應用;使同學能熟悉GIS之觀念與技術,以期理論與實務能充分配合。

In recent years, the development of geographical information has become more diversified. There are many application directions of geographical information in the fields of geography, landscape, soil and water conservation, urban accounting, information science, environmental resources, transportation, etc.; and the latest development direction is It emphasizes the spatiality of various phenomena, transforms, analyzes, and integrates substantive phenomena through the concept of space. The application of surface landscape is also an important topic; issues in the field of landscape are all-encompassing and all related to spatial phenomena; therefore, this course will explain the basic theoretical concepts, functions and application examples of geographical information, combined with the introduction of online GIS resources. ,make Students understand the concepts and application directions of GIS, and learn operational analysis techniques from practice; at the same time, they can use GIS resources on the Internet to assist in the practical application of GIS; so that students can become familiar with the concepts and technologies of GIS, so that theory and practice can fully cooperate .
