本課程為管院AI學程課程之一，因應國際"From AI to BI"之課程設計趨勢。人工智慧主要有兩派應用:以電腦模擬人腦、以電腦支援人腦。前者主要為機器學習，後者在商管領域主要為商業智慧(BI)。以Google Trends分析全球趨勢可發現，BI近年成為E化需求第一名，同時也是未來行動應用需求的第一名，亦為大數據分析(Big Data)之一環。
本課程旨在使學生具備善用資訊科技分析各類資料的能力，以實用為原則，不深入介紹複雜抽象的理論，而以深入淺出方式介紹：(1)企業用BI-鼎新V-Point、(2)自助式BI-微軟Power BI、(3)決策支援系統-Expert Choice等軟體，讓學生能從做中學具體了解，進而提升實務應用能力。此外，鼓勵學生在修完課後可直接考取經濟部及教育部核可之BI軟體應用師證照，並強化專業知識以應付職場需求。This course is one of the AI courses in the management institute, and it is in line with the international "From AI to BI" course design trend. There are two main applications of artificial intelligence: using computers to simulate human brains and supporting human brains with computers. The former is mainly machine learning, while the latter is mainly business intelligence (BI) in the business management field. Google Trends analyzes the global trends and can be found that BI has become the number one in E-demand demand in recent years, and is also the number one in future mobile application demand, and is also one of the Big Data analysis (Big Data).
This course aims to enable students to make good use of information technology to analyze various types of data, and use practical as the principle, without in-depth introduction of complex abstract theories, but in-depth introduction: (1) Enterprises use BI-Dingxin V-Point, ( 2) Self-service BI-microsoft Power BI, (3) Decision support system-Expert Choice and other software, allowing students to learn specific understanding through work and improve their practical application capabilities. In addition, students are encouraged to directly obtain BI software application certificates approved by the Ministry of Economics and the Ministry of Education after completing the course, and strengthen professional knowledge to meet the needs of the job.
