藉由讓學生動手操作實驗以加深並印證課本教導的知識，進一步對有機化學課程產生興趣。課程內容包含化合物的製備、分離純化到結構與純度鑑定，並同時了解實驗室相關安全規則。在實驗過程中，學生可以熟悉實驗器材的架設及操作方法，同時訓練觀察實驗現象並歸納分析數據的能力By allowing students to conduct hands-on experiments to deepen and confirm the knowledge taught in the textbook, they can further develop their interest in organic chemistry courses.
