本課程擬以中國古代思想家、思想學派或思想潮流為講授單元,旨在介紹中國思想的演變。本學期將由上古文化與原始宗教述起,中及西周和先秦諸子。本課程有三個主要學習目標:一是對中國思想的精神與特質有所理解。二是對個別思想家、學派的關懷、思路和思想系統,有清楚的認識。三是通過本課程的修習,能明瞭從上古到先秦時代的中國思想發展大勢,以作為日後有意深探古典思想、文化的基石。This course teaches the lectures of ancient Chinese thinkers, ideology schools or ideological trends, and aims to introduce the evolution of Chinese thought. This period will begin with ancient culture and primitive religions, and will be discussed in the Middle, Western Zhou and pre-Qin periods. This course has three main learning goals: First, we have a understanding of the spirit and characteristics of Chinese thought. The second is to have a clear understanding of the concerns, ideas and thought systems of different thinkers and schools. Third, through the practice of this course, we can understand the great development of Chinese thought from ancient times to the pre-Qin period, as the cornerstone of our intentional exploration of classical thought and culture in the future.

中國思想史屬於中文系課程四大群組中的「學術思想組」,為本系之必修課程。
二、所教授的專業能力
本課程所教授者並非一般語文能力,而是屬於專業學術研究能力之基礎培養。

7.漢末魏晉南北朝佛學—佛學基本名相—東漢後期初入中國的佛教—般若學的發展與六家七宗—道生與涅槃思想—南北朝佛教—中國大乘佛教各宗之興起
8.佛教宗派舉要:三論宗—天臺宗—禪宗—唯識宗
9.宋明理學:北宋儒學之發展—周濂溪—張橫渠—二程—朱子—象山—陽明
四、課程的教學目標:
本課程目的在訓練學生具備對儒家、道家等各家思想,以及印度傳來之佛學在中國歷史演變中相互激盪所形成的學術思想內容之大要。使學生對中國人的思想形態能有一總相的認識。
五、學生通過此課程時後所培養的能力:
學生通過此課程之後,能培養對中國學術思想史的基本認識能力,但仍不足以具備在此一學術範圍內的獨立研究能力。

4. Course teaching objectives:
This course aims to train students to prepare the essence of the academic thoughts formed by the mutual inspiration of Buddhism from India in the evolution of Chinese history. Enable students to have a general understanding of the Chinese people's thoughts and forms.
5. The abilities that students develop after this course:
After passing this course, students can cultivate basic cognition skills in Chinese academic thought history, but they are still not sufficient to have independent research skills within this academic scope.
