細胞生物學為食品科學、動植物學、理化、環境科學、免疫與醫學之交集,也是通向基礎與應用的重要起點。本課程藉由代表性專題使修習者能對細胞之生與死、分化與癌化、訊息傳導、膜通道及神經傳導等有所思考與認識,而能回答諸如化學物質加入食品或環境之影響,以及細胞老化死亡與個體健康關連等問題。本課程共兩學分。前半部10周20小時介紹細胞生物學重要主題,包含水與離子通道蛋白、細胞膜電位及神經傳導、細胞傳訊、癌化、細胞凋亡等。後半部6周以涵蓋上述各領域之期刊文獻進行專題討論。Cell biology is the intersection of food science, zoology and botany, physics and chemistry, environmental science, immunity and medicine. It is also an important starting point towards basics and applications. This course uses representative topics to enable students to think and understand the life and death of cells, differentiation and canceration, information transmission, membrane channels and nerve conduction, etc., and to answer questions such as the impact of chemicals added to food or the environment. , as well as issues related to cell aging and death and individual health. This course is a total of two credits. The first half of the course covers 10 weeks and 20 hours of important topics in cell biology, including water and ion channel proteins, cell membrane potential and nerve conduction, cell communication, cancerization, apoptosis, etc. The second half of the course will consist of 6 weeks of special discussions on journal articles covering the above fields.
