藝術史的發展並非單一線性演進,它涉及到不同地區的思潮演變、詮釋者對歷史中的視覺藝術進行的脈絡書寫風格。因此,在美術系的創作基礎上,將呈現藝術作品在不同進路之中的樣貌與脈落關係,以便讓學習者能夠從學術研究的視野認識藝術的不同定義,並從中瞭解藝術創作在傳統典範與創新之間並非斷裂。此外,藉由認識歷史中經典作品所具有的時代性,來檢視自身的學習創作過程,是否同樣具有反映人文思潮的開放特質。
在實踐方面,透過觀察藝術作品和文本分析的方式來訓練自我思想的能力,以及對圖像與意涵之間關聯的敏感度,以此加深個人對視覺藝術存在價值的了解,以及創作內涵的層次。The development of artistic history is not a single evolution. It involves the evolution of thought in different regions and the style of writing by the essays of visual art in history. Therefore, based on the creative foundation of the art system, the appearance and degeneration of artistic works in different paths will be presented so that learners can understand the different definitions of art from the perspective of academic research, and understand from it that artistic creation is not broken between traditional classical and innovation. In addition, by understanding the contemporary nature of classical works in history, to examine whether their own learning and creation process also has the same openness characteristics that reflect humanistic thoughts.
In practice, by observing artistic works and text analysis, we train our own ability to practice our own thinking and our sensitivity to the relationship between images and meaning, so as to deepen our personal understanding of the value of visual art and the level of creative connotation.
本課程範圍分為兩部分。第一部分為古典西洋美術史,以時序發展為主,涵蓋範圍從史前文明至十九世紀印象派。第二部分著重在現代主義,以運動、派別及形式等作為主要分類。
This course is divided into two parts. The first part is the history of classical Western art, which mainly develops in a timely manner, covering a range from prehistoric civilization to the nineteenth century Impressionism. The second part focuses on modernism, with movement, faction and form as the main categories.
