As Freud mentioned at the beginning of his article "Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Self", "From the beginning, individual psychology refers to social psychology." He pointed out that individual psychology cannot ignore the relationship between individuals and others. The impact of relationships and interactions on individuals demonstrates the importance of understanding human society from the perspective of social psychology. It emphasizes that the interpretation of human behavior cannot be carried out solely through pure individual psychology. The impact between people and the impact of individuals by others should be One of the factors that needs to be considered to understand an individual.
If social psychology is to be subdivided, it can be divided into social psychology of sociology and social psychology of psychology. Although the two come from different disciplinary foundations, they both try to provide the most effective interpretation of human behavior. Social psychology The academic perspective can also be seen as arising between the discussion of individuals and society. It emphasizes how individuals are affected by others and everyone, and how they act in groups, and also uses this to explore personal attitudes, cognition, self, Behavior, impression formation. Therefore, on the basis of general social psychology courses, this course adds sociological social psychology to discuss the masses. The main contents of the course mainly include the following two parts:
Part One: Introducing the main concepts of social psychology, focusing on the basic social psychological knowledge of psychology.
The second part: Taking the mid-term exam as the dividing line, we then start the discussion of mass social psychology, starting from psychologically oriented groups and herd behavior, and moving on to the form of groups, the composition of the masses, and the discussion of fascist organizations. and
Take the book "Rumors" as an example of a complete exploration of social psychology topics.
Through the introduction of various knowledge and the display of various research results in the course, students are expected to have a specific understanding of the subject of social psychology; and through the sharing of class reports and the implementation of final reports, students can then apply the various knowledge they have learned.
