本課程主要目標著重於培養籃球基礎技術能力及小組合作之觀念主要課程包括運球、傳接球、投籃、上籃、防守等基本動作、綜合技術、規則常識、運動傷害防護等。並依學習狀況教授1-3人小組攻防配合動作、藉由理論講述、反覆練習達到學習的成效。除此更希望藉由本課程讓同學了解籃球競賽理論,提升運動賞析能力並將籃球運動做為個人日常休閒的活動項目,充分享受運動所給予的樂趣.
目標二為介紹運動相關常識,運動賽會,競賽內容及體適能要素包含心肺耐力,肌肉質量,柔軟度,平衡,敏捷性等練習的方法及如何融入日常生活提升身體整體素質.體育常識的講解:1.增進學生對體育課程的基本認知。
2.讓學生瞭解體育課程的核心目標與價值。
3.讓學生瞭解健康體適能對現代人的重要性。
4.讓學生瞭解運動傷害預防與處理方式。
