本課程係教育學程之核心理論課程,以整合社會學的觀點,來培育學生具教育與社會互動關係的專業素養。課程設計的架構運用社會學概念(想像)為基礎,從批判理論的觀點,探討社會情境(社會變遷、文化與國家權力)對教育制度、學校組織與教育過程,以及社會階層對教育機會均與多元文化教育的影響。課程內容從介紹基本的教育社會學概念與理論著手,進而延伸探討如何運用概念與理論觀點,分析上述的教育諸議題。
課程目的是培養學生能夠從社會與教育互動的視野,觀察、分析教育議題的素養,預備將來從事實際教育工作時的反思與洞識能力,促進教材、教法與教育政策制定的合理性,落實對弱勢學生的關懷,以有效提升適性學習的教育品質。
課程授課方式包括課堂講授、影片觀賞討論與課堂報告和分享討論。修課學生應於期中組成小組,針對當前國教相關議題進行資料蒐集與整理,並進行期末口頭報告,以增進修課同學對未來教育發展趨勢的掌握能力。
This course is a core theoretical course in the education program. It integrates sociological perspectives to cultivate students' professional qualities in the interaction between education and society. The framework of the curriculum design is based on sociological concepts (imagination), and from the perspective of critical theory, it explores the impact of social situations (social change, culture and state power) on the educational system, school organization and educational process, as well as the impact of social class on educational opportunities. The purpose of the course is to cultivate students' ability to observe and analyze educational issues from the perspective of interaction between society and education, prepare students for reflection and insight when engaging in practical education work in the future, promote the rationality of the formulation of teaching materials, teaching methods and educational policies, and implement Care for disadvantaged students to effectively improve the educational quality of adaptive learning.
Course teaching methods include classroom lectures, video viewing discussions, class reports and sharing discussions. Students taking the course should form a group mid-term to collect and organize information on current issues related to national education, and give an oral report at the end of the term to enhance the students' ability to grasp future educational development trends.
