自由競爭的市場秩序一般被認為最能保障消費者利益，公平交易法即是我國法上為維護自由競爭市場秩序所定之法律規範。向來多受到美國法的影響，以「反托拉斯法（Antitrust Law）」稱呼之，但隨著歐盟競爭法的發展日益進步，目前世界上多以「競爭法（Competition Law）」之概念稱呼此種法律規範。在本課程中，將會帶領同學一同認識我國公平交易法之概念，並就公平交易法所禁止之限制競爭與不公平競爭之行為進行說明。希望同學能藉由公平法交易法的學習，掌握競爭法的基本原理原則。
因第一週將針對課程內容、課程要求、評分標準，以及公平交易法之整體架構進行簡要說明，請同學務必出席以掌握本課程之目標之內涵。第一週課程未出席者視為退選課程，將強制退選。另外，也不提供未出席第一週課程之同學加簽或加選。The market order of free competition is generally considered to best protect the interests of consumers.
