「空間」作為社會文化分析的對象與概念,於1980年代中期以後,超出了地理學、建築學與都市研究等傳統空間學域,普遍受到人文社會科學界重視。這已不再是一個生產過剩,而是消費過度的年代;當代資本主義的問題也不再是生產模式、生產關係下的的勞動剝削,而是消費模式、消費關係下的慾望控制。透過消費意識的建立,需求的社會建構,重新型塑主體的自我認同和社會認同,同時也加速慾望的流動和商品的流通。在消費主義下,物或商品已取得它在當代社會中的關鍵位置,物體系和商品世界所指涉的是人類的社會生活形式和文化實踐行為。消費,不再是單純的物品耗費和購買,也不是經濟和效用的過程,而是一種涉及到符號或象徵的社會、文化過程。它所關涉的包括:生活風格、階級品味、慾望認同、日常生活實踐的影響效應,以及消費如何作為一種社會控制機制。 本課程將從社會、文化和人類學的面向切入消費理論的探討,分別觸及傳統馬克思主義以及Baudrillard 、Bourdieu 、Jameson 等當代思想家的相關論點;一方面在現代與後現代性的脈絡下勾勒消費面向的特質和轉變;同時也透過對物品意義、形式與商品文化和拜物的探討,深入理解消費與當代社會和文化經驗中的廣告、流行時尚、階級品味、生活美學、時裝/飲食/化妝的操控、購物快感、身體型塑和空間生產之間的關聯。As an object and concept of social and cultural analysis, "space" has gone beyond the traditional spatial academic fields such as geography, architecture, and urban studies since the mid-1980s, and has generally been valued by the humanities and social sciences. This is no longer an era of overproduction, but of overconsumption; the problem of contemporary capitalism is no longer labor exploitation under the production model and production relations, but the control of desires under the consumption model and consumption relations. Through the establishment of consumption consciousness and the social construction of demand, the subject's self-identity and social identity are reshaped, while also accelerating the flow of desire and the circulation of commodities. Under consumerism, objects or commodities have acquired a key position in contemporary society. The object system and the commodity world refer to human social life forms and cultural practices. Consumption is no longer simply the consumption and purchase of items, nor is it an economic and utility process, but a social and cultural process involving signs or symbols. It involves: lifestyle, class taste, desire identity, the impact of daily life practices, and how consumption serves as a social control mechanism. This course will start the discussion of consumption theory from the aspects of society, culture and anthropology, touching on the relevant arguments of traditional Marxism and contemporary thinkers such as Baudrillard, Bourdieu and Jameson. On the one hand, it will outline the aspects of consumption in the context of modernity and post-modernity. characteristics and transformations; at the same time, through the discussion of the meaning, form, commodity culture and fetishism of objects, we gain a deep understanding of the relationship between consumption and advertising, fashion, class taste, life aesthetics, fashion/diet/makeup in contemporary social and cultural experience. Links between manipulation, shopping pleasure, body shaping, and spatial production.
本課程主要講授內容大致分為兩部份:
(一) 建築意義之辯證:包含「第一章:從理型美學到機械美學之辯證」及「第二章:建築典範與範型移轉之思辯」兩關鍵議題之探討。
(二) 詮釋本質的模型:包含「第三章:現象本質意義之個人再詮釋學」、「第四章:場所感知溝通模式與建築語用自由度」及「第五章:意識形態與建築師之社會角色定位」等三關鍵議題之探討。
由前述兩部份有關建築意義與本質之辯證與詮釋模型之探索,期能建立一較嚴謹之建築論述內涵。
The main teaching content of this course is roughly divided into two parts:
(1) Dialectics of architectural significance: including the discussion of two key topics: "Chapter 1: Dialectics from rational aesthetics to mechanical aesthetics" and "Chapter 2: Thoughts on architectural paradigms and paradigm transfer".
(2) Model of the essence of interpretation: including "Chapter 3: Personal Re-Hermeneutics of the Essential Meaning of Phenomenon", "Chapter 4: Communication Mode of Place Perception and Architectural Pragmatic Freedom" and "Chapter 5: Ideology and Architecture Discussion on three key issues such as "Teacher's Social Role Positioning".
Through the exploration of the dialectics and interpretation models of the meaning and essence of architecture in the two parts mentioned above, it is expected that a more rigorous architectural discussion connotation can be established.
