內泌素為調節動物體生理(消化、代謝、動物行為與生殖等)及維持生命所需。本課程將介紹動物體內各種製造內泌素的腺體,以及這些腺體的內泌素在動物生理調節中所扮演的角色。課程並進一步探討內分泌系統調控之生理機制,舉凡內泌素生合成,內泌素與內泌素受體調節,內泌素訊息傳遞與基因調控等。透過授課內容的教授與互動討論,能讓學生瞭解動物內分泌生理,並培養獨立思考及研究能力。Endocannabinoids are needed to regulate animal physiology (digestion, metabolism, animal behavior and reproduction, etc.) and maintain life. This course will introduce various endocannabinoid-producing glands in animals and the role of endocannabinoids from these glands in regulating animal physiology. The course also further explores the physiological mechanisms of endocrine system regulation, including endocrine production and synthesis, regulation of endocrine and endocrine receptors, endocrine signaling and gene regulation, etc. Through teaching content and interactive discussions, students can understand animal endocrine physiology and develop independent thinking and research abilities.
