從課程中使學生習得對動物之基本管理知識技能:認識家畜的行為,便於畜牧業者以家畜行為學之知識應用於飼養管理,以獲得最佳的經營利益、避免管理者受到家畜傷害及滿足人類求知。另外課程之設計希望能活用知識並應用於對動物之飼養管理:使學生從課程中更深一層認識家禽,並能以所學應用於家禽飼養管理上,例如:畜舍設計。1.
