每次上課，介紹一至二件經典作品，引領學生進入古代書畫的世界。除了作品本身的風格分析外，也將對孕育作品的社會背景、文化歷史脈絡、美學思潮等進行探討。
圖像寓意、題跋與詩歌、相關典故，以及畫論文獻，將是我們解讀作品時的重要參照。
有鑑於這些作品本身所承載的思想，本課程不僅止於單純的欣賞，亦將同步提出值得進一步討論的議題，供學生進行反思。
In each class, one or two classic works will be introduced to lead students into the world of ancient calligraphy and painting. In addition to the stylistic analysis of the work itself, the social background, cultural and historical context, aesthetic trends, etc. that gave rise to the work will also be discussed.
The meaning of the image, the inscriptions and poems, the relevant allusions, and the painting theory documents will be important references when we interpret the works.
In view of the ideas contained in these works themselves, this course goes beyond simple appreciation, and will also raise issues worthy of further discussion for students to reflect on.
