R 語言是目前處理大數據最常使用的程式語言之一，並具備數千個功能強大的延伸套件，讓 R 語言可深入應用各種不同的領域。本課程將介紹 R 的基本功能、常被使用的延伸套件，並佐以各種資料集案例，具體展現如何使用 R 語言進行資料分析，例如: 向量運算、文字探勘、資料視覺化、趨勢預測、資料建模，以及各種分析結果的輸出、引用與動態呈現等。最後，再透過期末專題的實作，訓練同學利用 R 語言及其套件實際解決資料分析問題的能力。

R language is currently one of the most commonly used programming languages ​​for processing big data, and has thousands of powerful extension packages, allowing R language to be deeply applied in various fields. This course will introduce the basic functions of R, commonly used extension packages, and provide various data set cases to specifically demonstrate how to use R language for data analysis, such as: vector operations, text exploration, data visualization, trend prediction, data modeling, as well as the output, citation and dynamic presentation of various analysis results, etc. Finally, through the implementation of the final project, students are trained to use R language and its packages to actually solve data analysis problems.
