漢代承繼先秦王官經學與百家子學之發展，《史記》一書正是在「協厥六藝經傳，整齊百家雜語」的觀念之下統合先秦兩套傳統學術之下的子學新開展。但一本子學新作卻成為中國以下正史之鼻祖，這其中牽涉了許多的學術問題。本課程之目標在使學生除了了解《史記》五種體例的內容之外，也能了解《史記》一書外圍的學術問題。以奠定獨立研究《史記》的學術能力。The Han Dynasty inherited the development of the pre-Qin royal classics and the Baijia Zi Xue.
