教育目標 Course Target

初學者藉由顯微鏡(Microscope)的使用,以及細菌的簡單染色(simple staining),格蘭式染色(Gram staining)...等染色技術搭配顯微鏡觀察,幫助學生對微生物的型態,大小及結構的了解.
由培養基(medium)的製備及培養微生物的轉接技術(culture transfer),使學生學習如何培養細菌.
由分離技術(Isolation)及序列技術(Serial Dilution)了解檢驗微生物的方法.
由微生物的營養需求條件(pH,temp,培養基成分及氧氣)觀察微生物的生長情形.
由長時間的培養細菌以分光光度技去測量細菌生長情形而完成細菌生長曲線,以了解細菌複製世代所需的時間

Beginners use microscopes, simple staining, Gram staining, etc. to combine microscope observations to help students understand the shape, size and structure of microorganisms.
The preparation of medium and the culture transfer of culture to cultivate microorganisms enable students to learn how to cultivate bacteria.
Learn how to test microorganisms through separation technology (Isolation) and Serial Dilution.
The growth of microorganisms is observed by the nutrient requirements conditions (pH, temp, cultivation base components and oxygen).
The bacterial growth curve is completed by measuring bacterial growth over a long period of time by spectrophotometry to understand the time required for bacterial reproduction generation.

課程概述 Course Description

Part1,on microscopy,introduces the use and care of the microscope for the study of microorganisms. Part2, on basis laboratory techniques for isolation, cultivation,and cultural characterization of microorganisms introduces basic procedures used for isolation and cultivation of micoorganisms. Part3,on bacterial staining, focuses on procedures for bacterial smear preparation, visualization, and differentiation of microorganisms and cell structures
Part4, focuses on cultivation of microorganisms, nutritional and physical requirement, and enumeration of microbial populations.

Part1,on microscopy,introduces the use and care of the microscope for the study of microorganisms.
