本課程自中國史學經典名著，講授中國傳統史學的特點與價值，並論述中國傳統史學中的歷史論述、評論與人文關懷，藉以彰顯人文思想中古今傳承與一貫的精神所在。本課程主要分成兩大部份，一為論述司馬遷及其史記的時代、撰述、體例、困境、理想及其價值所在；一為自史記五個體例：本紀、世家、表、書、列傳等選擇其中最具特色的篇章詳細講授司馬遷的史學論述。
簡言之，本課程對司馬遷與史記呈現宏觀的觀察，亦說明微觀的論述，藉以達成理解史記的基本素養。

This course is based on classic Chinese history books, teaching the characteristics and values ​​of Chinese traditional history, and discussing historical comments, comments and humanistic concerns in Chinese traditional history, so as to highlight the spiritual inheritance of ancient and modern times and the same mind in humanistic thought. This course is mainly divided into two parts. One is to discuss the era, writing, examples, difficulties, ideals and their value of the Sema and its historical records; the other is to select the most distinctive chapters of Sema and its historical records in detail.
