民法債編總論之體系龐大，為民法各類之債提供了共通的抽象基礎規範。其內容所涉者，包括債之發生及債之法律效果等面向。前者包括契約、無因管理、不當得利及侵權行為等；後者則論及債之標的、債之效力、多數債務人及債權人、債之移轉、債之消滅等。本課程分為上、下兩學期進行，旨在使學生得以認識並掌握民法債編總論之體系架構暨基本觀念，並於建立穩固之基礎後，進一步培養學生獨立思考、批判分析民事法律問題之能力。由是，於課程進行中，除說明國內相關學說外，亦將整理、分析並歸納代表性之實務看法，間或適時引介外國立法例。透過三者之結合呈現，使學生非僅片面、而係能夠以全面之角度，踏出認識債法之第一步。

The general system of the Civil Law Debt Encoding is large, providing a common abstract basic rule for debts of various types of civil law. The contents include the occurrence of debts and the legal effects of debts. The former includes contracts, unreasonable management, inappropriate gains and infringement, etc.; the latter discusses the debt tag, the effect of debt, most debtors and debtors, the transfer of debts, and the elimination of debts, etc. This course is divided into two classes, first and second, aiming to enable students to understand and master the system structure and basic concepts of the general discussion of civil law debt. After establishing a solid foundation, further cultivate students' ability to think independently and critically analyze civil legal issues. Therefore, during the course, in addition to explaining domestic related academic statements, we will also organize, analyze and study representative practical views, and introduce foreign legislation in between or appropriately. Through the combined presentation of the three, students can not only be one-sided, but also take the first step in understanding debt from a comprehensive perspective.

研究民法上所規定的債之通則，就債的發生、標的、效力、移轉、消滅與多數債務人及多數債權人等之理論與實踐。債法 具有交易法的色彩，於今日人與人接觸頻繁，發生財產上的權利義務關係甚多之情形下，最為重要。

Study the rules of debt stipulated in civil law, and conduct the theory and practice of debt occurrence, labeling, effectiveness, transfer, consumption and the theory and implementation of debts. Debt law has the color of trading law. It is most important when people are in contact with each other today and there are many property rights and relations.
