建築與藝術過去數百年來保持一種密不可分的關係，經由相互之間參照、啟發與辯證，彼此激盪出社會的、文化的與美學的全新觀點與進化思想，在每一個時代，共同為生活與空間文化的提升而服務，例如德國包浩斯Bauhaus結合了藝術、工藝與工程思想，將建築視為整體文化實踐的一環，而非分離的表述。因此，這門課希望結合「對話講堂」以及「場域實習」的跨領域課程，對象以建築系及創藝學院各系同學為主體（也歡迎對藝術與建築有興趣的他院同學選修），目標在生活空間中探索並理解當代藝術與建築的關係脈絡與發展可能。

美術系的李思賢與建築系的邱浩修老師將每週同時出席授課，「對話講堂」將設定為兩位授課教師十週的「議題對話」課程，每週提出一個當代藝術與建築思潮的共通探討命題，各自準備以相互辯證的方式，激起學生對於當代議題的思想，例如空間藝術公共化的必要性、數位科技的創新迷思、影像消費文化的扁平空間...等等。

另外，「場域實習」將由兩位老師共同帶學生至三至四個藝術介入空間的創作場域，如清水眷村、中興大學校園公共藝術、高美館公共藝術...等，從建築與藝術不同的觀點，現場解說與討論，並在現地進行觀察紀錄。

Architecture and art have maintained an inseparable relationship for hundreds of years. Through mutual reference, inspiration and dialectics, they have inspired each other to create new social, cultural and aesthetic perspectives and evolutionary ideas. In every era, they have jointly served the improvement of life and space culture. For example, Bauhaus in Germany combines art, craftsmanship and engineering ideas, and regards architecture as a part of the overall cultural practice rather than a separate expression. Therefore, this course hopes to be a cross-disciplinary course that combines "dialogue lectures" and "field practice". It is mainly targeted at students from the Department of Architecture and the School of Creative Arts (students from other schools who are interested in art and architecture are also welcome to take elective courses), with the goal of exploring and understanding the relationship and development possibilities of contemporary art and architecture in living spaces.

Teachers Li Sixian from the Department of Fine Arts and Qiu Haoxiu from the Department of Architecture will attend classes at the same time every week. The "Dialogue Lecture" will be set up as a ten-week "topic dialogue" course for the two teachers. Each week they will propose a common discussion topic on contemporary art and architectural trends. Each is prepared to use a mutually dialectical way to stimulate students' thoughts on contemporary issues, such as the necessity of public space art, the innovative myth of digital technology, the flat space of image consumption culture, etc.

In addition, in the "field internship", two teachers will jointly take the students to three to four creative sites of art intervention spaces, such as Qingshui Village, National Chung Hsing University Campus Public Art, Gaomei Pavilion Public Art, etc., and provide on-site explanations and discussions from different perspectives of architecture and art, as well as on-site observation and recording.
