建築與藝術過去數百年來保持一種密不可分的關係,經由相互之間參照、啟發與辯證,彼此激盪出社會的、文化的與美學的全新觀點與進化思想,在每一個時代,共同為生活與空間文化的提升而服務,例如德國包浩斯Bauhaus結合了藝術、工藝與工程思想,將建築視為整體文化實踐的一環,而非分離的表述。因此,這門課希望結合「對話講堂」以及「場域實習」的跨領域課程,對象以建築系及創藝學院各系同學為主體(也歡迎對藝術與建築有興趣的他院同學選修),目標在生活空間中探索並理解當代藝術與建築的關係脈絡與發展可能。
美術系的李思賢與建築系的邱浩修老師將每週同時出席授課,「對話講堂」將設定為兩位授課教師十週的「議題對話」課程,每週提出一個當代藝術與建築思潮的共通探討命題,各自準備以相互辯證的方式,激起學生對於當代議題的思想,例如空間藝術公共化的必要性、數位科技的創新迷思、影像消費文化的扁平空間...等等。
另外,「場域實習」將由兩位老師共同帶學生至四至五個藝術介入空間的創作場域,如清水眷村、中興大學校園公共藝術、高美館公共藝術...等,從建築與藝術不同的觀點,現場解說與討論,並在現地進行觀察紀錄。Architecture and art have maintained an inseparable relationship for hundreds of years. Through mutual reference, initiation and verification, they have inspired each other to create new social, cultural and aesthetic ideas, and jointly serve the improvement of life and space culture in every era. For example, German Bauhaus combines art, art and engineering ideas, and regards architecture as a circle of the overall cultural reality rather than a distinction. Therefore, this course hopes to combine the cross-domain courses of "dialogue lectures" and "field practice", with the main focus on the peers in the department of architecture and various departments of the Creative Arts (and students from other schools who are interested in art and architecture are welcome to choose from), with the goal of exploring and understanding the relationship and development possibilities of contemporary art and architecture in the living space.
Li Siqin of the Department of Art and Qiu Haoxiu of the Department of Architecture will attend the teaching class at the same time every week. The "Dialogue Class" will be set as the "Control Dialogue" course for the two teachers for ten weeks. Each week proposes a common exploration of contemporary art and architectural thoughts. Each is preparing to arouse students' ideas on contemporary discussions in a mutually verbal way, such as the necessity of publicization of space art, the innovative myth of digital technology, the flat space of image consumption culture... and so on.
In addition, "Site Practice" will bring students together by two teachers to four to five art-involved creative fields, such as Qingshui Junmen Village, Zhongxing University Campus Public Art, Gaomei Pavilion Public Art..., etc., from different perspectives in buildings and art, they will explain and discuss the site, and conduct observations on the spot.
