Social Organization
教育目標 Course Target
組織是人類社會的關鍵詞,不是管理學院的禁臠,組織是個動詞,是哲學,是藝術,是社會科學,有著神、意、形。自十九世紀韋伯以降,社會學在組織研究上,已經開展出許多典範與歷史,產生了深遠的影響,組織社會學乃是社會學領域的重要學域。本課程將在社會學知識脈絡下,有系統地逐步探索組織的哲學、藝術、認識、方法、設計、治理。除了課堂講授之外,課程後半段將著重行動面的實作訓練,我們在既有的社區組織關係基礎上,以「黎明新村」為現地實做田野,取法芝加哥學派的取徑,帶同學進入到社區裡面,面對真實的議題,結合本校「人文創新與社會實踐計畫」以及黎明幼兒園、黎明里辦公處相關提案,透過「田野實作工作坊」的形式,讓同學有機會運用學習到的組織理論,發揮社會學的想像,投入社區實做專案企劃(例如組織導覽隊、籌辦社區報、推動社區規劃、在地實踐社群經營、舉辦陳抗或遊行動員、參與式預算提案、社企創業計畫、開一間店、規劃本校微課程等)。在期末我們將會舉辦一場兩班同學的企劃案發表會,邀請專家講評。期望這門課成為同學們接下來這半年的生活重心,並鼓勵各位將本學期發展出來的專案企劃,延伸銜接至下學期將繼續開授的實作課,朝實際落實的目標努力。
Organization is the key word of human society, not a taboo in management schools. Organization is a verb, a philosophy, an art, and a social science, with spirit, meaning, and form. Since Weber in the 19th century, sociology has developed many models and histories in organizational research, which have had a profound impact. Organizational sociology is an important academic field in the field of sociology. This course will systematically and gradually explore the philosophy, art, understanding, methods, design, and governance of organizations in the context of sociological knowledge. In addition to classroom lectures, the second half of the course will focus on practical training on the action side. Based on the existing community organization relationship, we use "Lingming New Village" as the actual field practice, following the approach of the Chicago School, taking students into the community to face real issues, combined with the school's "Humanities Innovation and Social Practice Plan" and related proposals for Liming Kindergarten and Limingli Office , through the form of "Field Practice Workshop", students have the opportunity to use the organizational theory they have learned, use their sociological imagination, and engage in community practical project planning (such as organizing tour groups, preparing community newspapers, promoting community planning, practicing community management on the spot, organizing protests or parade mobilization, participatory budget proposals, social enterprise plans, opening a store, planning the school's micro-courses, etc.). At the end of the semester, we will hold a project presentation meeting for two classes of students and invite experts to comment. I hope that this course will become the focus of students' lives in the next six months, and I encourage you to extend the project plans developed this semester to the practical courses that will be taught next semester, and work towards the goal of actual implementation.
