本課程將對量化研究方法中的研究步驟、理論建構與統計方法之間的程序關係進行系統性介紹。課程內容將避免艱澀難懂的數學公式，除了讓同學孰悉實證研究的調查方與資料分析概念，也將讓同學掌握統計方法的應用與解讀，並合理地詮釋統計結果。課程目標主要有:
1.培養同學對於量化研究的學習興趣，認識基本的量化研究概念；
2.訓練同學閱讀、理解與應用量化研究論文的能力；
3.孰悉基本統計概念與SPSS軟體操作；
4.學會掌握理論建構與操作化原理，建立嚴謹的量化研究的能力。

This course will systematically introduce the procedural relationship between research steps, theoretical structure and statistical methods in quantitative research methods. The course content will avoid numbing mathematical formulas that are difficult to understand. In addition to letting students understand the survey methods and data analysis concepts of practical research, it will also let students master the application and interpretation of statistical methods, and reasonably evaluate the statistical results. The main course goals are:
1. Cultivate students' learning interest in quantitative research and understand basic quantitative research concepts;
2. Training students' ability to read, understand and apply quantitative research papers;
3. Who knows the basic statistical concepts and SPSS software operations;
4. Learn to master the principles of theoretical construction and operation, and establish the ability to conduct serious quantitative research.
