教育目標 Course Target

微生物學為畜產與生物科技學系重要的一門學科,其學習應用層面包括
1. 畜牧生產之防疫,發酵飼糧之製作,污染防治及廢棄物再利用等。
2. 畜產加工包括乳、肉、蛋及副產物汁發酵產程,食品安全之微生物檢驗等。
3. 生物科技包括微生物之蛋白質生產、藥物生產,基因工程等。
都需要微生物學之基本知識,由此基礎知識之進一步延伸專題與實作,可令學生更加深本學科之深度學習,為未來就業應用奠定實作技能與知識。

Microbiology is an important subject in the Department of Animal Industry and Biotechnology. Its learning and application aspects include
1. Epidemic prevention in livestock production, production of fermented feed, pollution prevention and waste reuse, etc.
2. Livestock processing includes the fermentation process of milk, meat, eggs and by-product juices, microbiological inspection of food safety, etc.
3. Biotechnology includes microbial protein production, drug production, genetic engineering, etc.
All require basic knowledge of microbiology. The further extension of the basic knowledge to special topics and practice can enable students to deepen their in-depth study of this subject and lay practical skills and knowledge for future employment applications.
