紥實的生物學識基礎、銜接本系大學部二年級「生物學研究導論」及三四年級「生物醫學專題
論文」及「生態學專題論文」課程,讓學生在知識、閱讀能力、實作能力的養成教育上,提供
一貫的發展脈絡。本課程預期奠定學生未來在學識(遺傳學及分子生物學)和研究實作(生物
醫學專題論文及生態學專題論文)的基礎能力。每班15至20人實施小班教學,由本系5至6位教師親自帶領。本課程教導生物學的基本學習方法。從英文閱讀及課文延伸選讀中幫助學生習得未來進階生物學知識的方法,此與大二大三遺傳學及分子生物學等必修課學習密切關聯。本課程亦將教導學生批判思考科學方法與科學邏輯、期刊文獻閱讀、小組討論、寫作、專業與多媒體軟體使用等,與大二生物學研究導論和大三大四的專題論文自成一貫脈絡。

The courses of "Economic Specialty Papers" allow students to provide education on the cultivation of knowledge, reading ability and practical ability.
A development line. This course is expected to establish students' future learning (translation and molecular biology) and research practices (biology)
Basic abilities of medical topic papers and biographic topic papers). Each class has 15 to 20 students to teach small classes, and they are led by 5 to 6 teachers in this department. This course teaches basic learning methods in biology. It helps students gain advanced biology knowledge in the future through English reading and course extension selection. This is closely related to compulsory courses such as sophomore and junior high school education and molecular biology. This course will also teach students to critically think about scientific methods and scientific logic, journal reading, group discussion, writing, professional and multimedia software use, etc., and form a unique link with sophomore biology research discussions and topical articles in junior year’s third and fourth year’s majors.
