Social Organization
教育目標 Course Target
組織是人類社會的關鍵詞,不是管理學院的禁臠,組織是個動詞,是哲學,是藝術,是社會科學,有著神、意、形。自十九世紀韋伯以降,社會學在組織研究上,已經開展出許多典範與歷史,產生了深遠的影響。本課程將在社會學的知識體系脈絡下,透過有系統的規劃,逐步探索組織的哲學、藝術、認識、方法、設計、治理。除了課堂的講授之外,課程後半段將著重組織行動面的實作訓練,透過多次「專案企劃實作工作坊」的形式,讓參與者有機會運用所學習的理論知識,發揮社會學的想像,投入於實務案例的組織企劃及運作管理(例如設計成立新的法人組織,籌辦一場有意義的活動,參與式預算提案,創業計畫書,發展社會企業,合作社,組織工會與社會運動,遊行動員,社區營造等),在期末我們將舉辦同學們的專案企劃發表會,邀請專家講評,並鼓勵同學將這一學期發展出的案例延伸、銜接至大四下的實作課。授課者希望這門課成為參與者這半年的生活重心。
Organization is the key word of human society, not a taboo in management schools. Organization is a verb, a philosophy, an art, and a social science, with spirit, meaning, and form. Since Weber in the 19th century, sociology has developed many models and histories in organizational research, which have had a profound impact. This course will gradually explore the philosophy, art, understanding, methods, design, and governance of organizations through systematic planning in the context of the sociological knowledge system. In addition to classroom lectures, the second half of the course will focus on organizational practical training. Through multiple "project planning practical workshops", participants will have the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned, use their sociological imagination, and invest in organizational planning and operational management of practical cases (such as designing and establishing a new legal entity, organizing a Meaningful activities, participatory budget proposals, business plans, developing social enterprises, cooperatives, organizing trade unions and social movements, mobilizing marches, community building, etc.). At the end of the semester, we will hold a project planning conference for students, invite experts to comment, and encourage students to extend and connect the cases developed during this semester to practical classes in their senior year. The instructor hopes that this course will become the focus of participants' lives during this half-year period.
