1.使修習學生能了解法理學的主要問題、重要理論、基本概念及分析方法。
2.引導學生能運用所學習之概念、理論與方法於相關法學問題之思考。
■ 課程內涵 (Course Contents)
本學期
首先，使學生了解法理學是什麼？包括其研究對象和範圍。
其次、介紹西方法律思想的歷史及發展
再來、按西方法律思想歷史之發展介紹重要的法理學家及其法學思想、理念
最後、就國內外出現許多嚴重爭議的法律問題(如安樂死、複製人、同性婚姻...)
，作出法理學的思維與回應。

■ Course Objectives
1. Enable students to understand the main problems, important theories, basic concepts and analytical methods of legal science.
2. Instruct students to use the concepts, theories and methods they have learned to think about related legal learning problems.
■ Course Contents
Period
First of all, let students understand what jurisprudence is? Including its research subject and scope.
Secondly, introduce the history and development of Western legal thought
Next, according to the development of the history of Western legal thought, important jurists and their legal thoughts and concepts
Finally, there are many serious legal issues that have appeared at home and abroad (such as Anle's death, copying, same-sex marriage...)
, make jurisprudence and response.
