同時也讓美術學習者能夠在創作與展覽規劃上，擁有更多豐富的藝術理解基礎。

Learn the perspective of art history research on the basis of the Department of Fine Arts, and learn about the different artistic expressions and connotations of various eras, as well as the context of art modernization.

Practice personal writing through observation of artworks and text analysis, in order to deepen your personal perception of visual artworks.
At the same time, it also allows art learners to have a richer foundation for artistic understanding in creation and exhibition planning.

本課程的主要範圍在討論西方藝術從史前時代到18世紀的巴洛克(Baroque)。授課內容以繪畫史的發展，配合不同時代的文明旁及於建築與雕塑的討論。

The main scope of this course is to discuss Western art from prehistoric times to the Baroque of the 18th century. The content of the course is based on the development of painting history, along with discussions on architecture and sculpture along with civilizations in different eras.
