社會工作系培養的學生是「能夠也願意關懷、服務並終身學習」的,本課程希望幫助學生從大一開始就累積這樣的能力與持續累積的習慣。培養學生關懷社區,樂於服務的習慣;並透過社會關懷服務,認識未來服務族群之特質,體認關懷社會應具有之正確觀念與態度,以及對於社會議題的多元化思考,更經由準備、服務、反思與慶賀的過程,培養領導與執行計畫之能力。
第一~五週課程重點為認識自己(包括個人及其環境),了解關懷服務的目的及如何開始去做關懷服務,透過課程學習中理解社會工作的助人特質及其展現的特殊性,能從服務對象了解、發掘需求或問題、再到發展策略、著手介入的過程體悟社會工作的助人專業性之呈現。
第六~十一週課程重點為分組選定對象進行蹲點,透過觀察、訪談、進一步認識蹲點之服務對象,期中報告為各小組之田野報告(每組社區蹲點調查至少12小時)。
第十二週~第十八週的重點透過蹲點瞭解後,小組擬定 方案並行動,最後二週進行期末團體報告行動方案結果與總結。(每組社區活動至少6小時)。
Students trained in the Department of Social Work are “can be concerned about, serve and learn in a long time”. This course hopes to help students accumulate such abilities and persistent accumulation from the beginning of their senior year. Cultivate students' concerns and be content with service; and through social concerns, we can recognize the characteristics of the future service ethnic group, and personally recognize the correct concepts and attitudes that the society should have, as well as diversified thinking on social discussion topics, and cultivate the ability to lead and execute planning through preparation, service, reflection and celebration.
The first to five-week course focuses on knowing oneself (including individuals and their environment), understanding the purpose of care services and how to start doing care services, and understanding the helping characteristics of social work and its particularity through course learning, and understanding the helping characteristics of social work from the service object to understand, discover needs or problems, and then developing strategies and intruding into the process of intrusion.
The focus of the sixth to eleventh week course is to select targets for the sub-groups to conduct squatting points, through observation, visiting, and further identifying the service targets of the squatting points. The mid-term report is the field report of each group (each community squatting point survey will take at least 12 hours).
After understanding the key points of the 12th and 18th week through the squatting point, the group decided on the plan and took action, and the final group reported the results and summary of the action plan in the last two weeks. (Each community event will take at least 6 hours).
