本課程是學期課，因此本課程規劃以「德國近現代史」為主要授課內容。本課程的教學目標有下列三點：1.德國是歐洲最重要的國家之一，自近代以來她在文化上的成就和政經的發展，不但影響整個歐洲，而且影響整個世界。此外，她自1871年以來，歷經帝國的創建和擴張，第一次世界大戰的挫敗，威瑪共和的散漫與無能，以及納粹獨裁專政崛起後，妄想稱霸歐洲和統治整個世界而敗亡。戰後國土被列強分區佔領而分裂成東、西德兩國，但分裂45年後，東、西德於1900年10月3日又重歸統一。新統一的德國又慢慢發展成為歐洲「潛在的霸權」，和世界舉足輕重的國家。因此，我們對她的在近現代歷史的演進和文化的發展，應該加以認識和了解。2.增進選修同學對歐洲的了解。3.同時培養同學的國際觀與世界觀。

This course is a semester course, so this course is planned to take "German Modern History" as the main teaching content. The teaching objectives of this course are as follows: 1. Germany is one of the most important countries in Europe. Since modern times, its cultural achievements and political and economic development have not only affected the entire Europe, but also the entire world. In addition, since 1871, after experiencing the creation and expansion of the empire, the defeat of the First World War, the laxity and incompetence of the Weimar Republic, and the rise of the Nazi dictatorship, her delusional attempt to dominate Europe and the entire world was defeated.
