先秦散文在散文史上獨具特色，並且深深影響後代散文，本課程擬以一至兩本先秦散文為主，輔以其他文學作品。先秦散文之作者可謂當代哲學家，不論是語言或是思辯能力皆是一時之選。傅沛榮：「哲學是對人生經驗作全面的反省，再就『人與自我、與他人、與自然界、與超越界』這四方便提出完整的說明，由此展現理想的人生是怎麼回事。......他的思想必定醞涵某些永恆的理念，足以啟發一代又一帶的愛智之士。」透過解讀諸子之作品，不僅學到先哲的文字組織及表達能力，還能習得諸子智慧，有助於健全個人思維，增加個人競爭力、應變力、創造力等各項迎向未來之能力。

Pre-Qin prose is unique in the history of prose and has deeply influenced later generations of prose. This course is planned to focus on one or two Pre-Qin prose books, supplemented by other literary works. The author of pre-Qin prose can be described as a contemporary philosopher, both in terms of language and thinking ability. Fu Peirong: "Philosophy is a comprehensive reflection on life experience, and then provides a complete explanation of the four conveniences of 'people and themselves, and others, and nature, and the transcendent world', thereby showing what an ideal life is like. ...His thoughts must contain some eternal principles. Thoughts are enough to inspire generations of people who love wisdom. "By interpreting the works of the philosophers, one can not only learn the writing organization and expression skills of the sages, but also learn the wisdom of the philosophers, which will help improve personal thinking and increase personal competitiveness, adaptability, creativity and other abilities to face the future.
