以自編講義、選篇為主,參考《現代文學》(空大)、《臺灣小說發展史》(古繼堂/文史哲)、《臺灣新詩發展史》(古繼堂)、《一首詩的誕生》(白靈)、《現代詩創作演練》(蕭蕭)等現代文學發展、論述之專著,及各作家作品集。
