刑法的理論極為抽象，讓初習刑法之人覺得深奧與混亂，讓人無所循從，因此本課程以連貫及活潑之教學方法，將學生引導至理解刑法及喜愛刑法之學習效果。課程中並輔以圖表呈現及案例解說之方式，教導學生學習刑法的目的及培養獨立思辨之能力，讓學生能夠從中獲得學習的樂趣與不錯的效果The theory of criminal law is extremely abstract, making it difficult for beginners to learn criminal law. Therefore, this course uses a coherent and lively teaching method to guide students to understand criminal law and enjoy criminal law. The course is supplemented by chart presentations and case explanations to teach students the purpose of learning criminal law and cultivate their ability to think independently, so that students can gain learning fun and good results.
刑法乃規定犯罪及法律效果之刑罰的關係之行為規範，而刑法總則為刑法規定共同適用之準則，亦為研習刑事法之基礎，其於犯罪之基本觀念及刑罰之終極目的，在理論方面固值作深入之比較研究，而在實際運用上，尤須注意其妥適性。
Criminal law is a code of conduct that stipulates the relationship between crimes and legal effects of punishment. The general principles of criminal law are the standards for common application of criminal law provisions and are also the basis for studying criminal law. They are theoretically solidified in the basic concepts of crime and the ultimate purpose of punishment. It is worthy of in-depth comparative study, and in practical application, special attention must be paid to its appropriateness.
