課程中詳盡介紹澳洲、韓國、澳門及東南亞賭場與博奕的歷史、經營運作議題及影響。多位國際權威專家共同討論爭議性的議題，像政策制定者和賭場經營決策者之間的議題等，幫助博奕產業人士在長期規劃中，於考量各種重要觀點時能具備世界觀。在本課程的經營單元裡，每一章都分析一個重要的賭場經營議題，如法律規章、認證、實質審查與核定、內部控管與稽核，以及佣金流動等。另一單元則是評論各區域的經濟與社會影響，同時亦詳加檢視中國文化與博奕，以說明博奕與日常生活之間交錯的關係，不管是公共議題、問題博奕、社會經濟成本等都在探討之列。The course provides a detailed introduction to the history, operational issues and impact of casinos and gaming in Australia, South Korea, Macau and Southeast Asia. A number of international authoritative experts discuss controversial issues, such as issues between policy makers and casino operating decision-makers, to help gaming industry professionals gain a worldview when considering various important perspectives in long-term planning. In the business unit of this course, each chapter analyzes an important casino business issue, such as laws and regulations, certification, substantive review and approval, internal control and auditing, and commission flow, etc. Another unit reviews the economic and social impact of each region, and also examines Chinese culture and gaming in detail to illustrate the intertwined relationship between gaming and daily life, whether it is public issues, problematic gaming, social and economic costs, etc. included in the discussion.
本課程提供學生對俱樂部經營管理與博奕事業經營管理之概論與相關技術，此為多元的服務業，亦是餐旅業的綜合體並討論亞洲與西方賭博有所區別的社會/文化/法律以及經濟等差異及正面與負面的影響。
This course provides students with an introduction and related techniques to club management and gaming business management, which is a diverse service industry and a complex of hospitality and hospitality industries.
