本課程為社會學系必修課程,修習時間為一年。在這一年中,我們希望努力達成以下的目標:
對研究設計及方法有基本的認識
能審慎評估所閱讀的社會學文獻
能選擇適合的研究方法對有興趣的題目進行研究
了解研究人類行為的限制及相關問題
欣賞與認識量化與質化研究的長處和弱點,了解單一研究方法的限制
為未來更深入的研究或就業奠立基礎This course is a required course in the Department of Sociology and takes one year to study. During this year, we hope to achieve the following goals:
Have a basic understanding of research design and methods
Be able to critically evaluate the sociological literature read
Ability to choose appropriate research methods to conduct research on topics of interest
Understand the limitations and related issues of studying human behavior
Appreciate and understand the strengths and weaknesses of quantitative and qualitative research, and understand the limitations of a single research method
Lay the foundation for more in-depth research or employment in the future
