大學歷史領域的課程，是絕大多數同學在正規學校教育中的最後一門歷史相關課程，所以如何統整小學、中學以來所接受的歷史知識，對歷史學門進行全盤性、系統性的解析，進一步了解歷史知識的性質與貢獻，這是本課程冀望達成的教學目標。

Courses in the field of university history are the last history-related courses for most students in formal school education. Therefore, how to integrate the historical knowledge received since elementary school and middle school, conduct a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the history subject, and further understand the nature and contribution of historical knowledge, this is the teaching goal that this course hopes to achieve.

以當前台灣的時空為基點，站在台灣主體性的立場上，來介紹台灣的歷史，反省台灣的過去理性地與過去對話，希望將歷史與現實結合，讓台灣的歷史能對我們的現實生活產生啟發與教育的作用，進而培養宏遠的世界觀。

Based on the current time and space of Taiwan, and from the standpoint of Taiwan's subjectivity, we will introduce Taiwan's history, reflect on Taiwan's past, and rationally dialogue with the past. We hope to combine history with reality, so that Taiwan's history can inspire and educate our real life, and then cultivate a grand world view.
