從貨幣面（monetary side）來分析貨幣因素對實質國際經濟活動的影響，並探討如何建立適當的國際金融制度及確保適宜的金融操作，俾能提供良好的貨幣環境，以利國內、外經濟活動的進行。

Analyze the impact of monetary factors on real international economic activities from the monetary side, and explore how to establish appropriate international financial systems and ensure appropriate financial operations so as to provide a good monetary environment to facilitate domestic and foreign economic activities.

本課程教學目的乃對於開放經濟體系，提供總體經濟理論的進階分析及模型延伸，尤其在總體經濟政策的效果分析及涵義上。並對整體世界經濟體系，互相依存的國際金融制度沿革及發展，外匯市場、國際收支的調節理論均為主題。主要內容包括：國際收支帳的介紹，各種匯率體制的發展及優劣比較，國際金融體制現況與變革，開放型總體經濟模型的建立、運作與架構，總體經濟政策效果分析，國際經濟景氣的傳輸與互動的探討，國際收支與匯率動態調節過程的理論。

The teaching purpose of this course is to provide advanced analysis and model extension of overall economic theory for open economic systems, especially in the analysis and implications of the effects of overall economic policies. The overall world economic system, the evolution and development of the interdependent international financial system, the foreign exchange market, and the adjustment theory of the balance of payments are all topics. The main contents include: introduction to the international balance of payments, the development and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of various exchange rate systems, the current situation and changes of the international financial system, the establishment, operation and structure of the open overall economic model, analysis of the overall economic policy effects, discussion of the transmission and interaction of the international economic boom, and the theory of the dynamic adjustment process of the international balance of payments and exchange rates.
