民法總則乃法律人初學科目，必須引領了解法律的真諦，學習民法的架構、概念與邏輯應用。祈使學生領悟法律規定的目的、法律與社會通念的連結、法律在社會變動中演化的價值判斷，實踐法律精神。
本學期民法課程將接續上學期課程部分，將整個民法總則作完整介紹。
