使同學能夠瞭解我國民法總則編之內容，掌握民法的基本原理原則，建立民法總則編的基礎架構，然後進一步學習民法之運用。

說明我國民法總則編之原理原則，注意培養對我國法制的瞭解，從學理與實務上學習民法之運用方法。
