本課程介紹雲端計算的特性，以及其背後的關鍵技術，接著介紹雲端計算所需的平台，以及建構雲端計算環境所需之基本架構，使學生對於雲端計算各元件以及如何將它們連接起來運作有一基本概念。This course introduces the characteristics of cloud computing, as well as the key technologies behind it, and then introduces the platforms required for cloud computing and the basic architecture required for building cloud computing environments, so that students have a basic concept of cloud computing components and how to connect them to operate.
雲端計算(Cloud Computing)是目前資訊科技領域中相當受到重視的新興分支。面對每天不斷產生的超大數據(Big Data)，如何有效處理是未來資訊管理中的重要議題。本課程除了透過課堂講解，也會邀請校外專家學者進行專題演講，讓同學們了解雲端計算的本質、技術與商業模式。
Cloud Computing is a very important new branch in the information technology field. Faced with the huge data generated every day (Big Data), how to effectively handle it is an important issue in future information management. In addition to lectures through class, this course will also invite off-campus experts to conduct special lectures, so that students can understand the nature, technology and business model of cloud computing.
