教育目標 Course Target

免疫學與微生物學、營養學、細胞生物學、神經內分泌學,乃至於分子生物學都有密切之關連。因內容龐大複雜,在沒有導引性課程之下,初習者容易望之卻步。本課程以食品科學系或其他生命科學相關科系大二以上學生為對象,嘗試以建構在普通生物學的基礎上深入淺出方式帶領修習者進入免疫生物學的奧妙殿堂,除瞭解免疫機制之各部運作原理,也能初步瞭解免疫系統與身體其他系統之交互關係,以及環境因子如食物、壓力、疾病等對於系統之影響。Immunology is closely linked to microbiology, nutrition, cell biology, neuronal secretion, and even molecular biology. Because the content is complicated, without the induction course, it is easy for beginners to take a few steps. This course is designed for sophomore or above in the Department of Food Science or other related departments of life sciences. We try to bring practitioners into the wonderful hall of immune biology by building on the basis of general biology. In addition to understanding the operating principles of various departments of the immune mechanism, we can also understand the interaction between the immune system and other systems of the body, as well as the impact of environmental factors such as food, pressure, and diseases on the system.


課程概述 Course Description

本課程為三學分,涵蓋下列課題:免疫系統之成員與角色介紹、抗體與B細胞、T細胞與抗原辨認、B細胞與T細胞發育、B細胞與T細胞於後天免疫所擔任任務(包含補體系統)、身體對感染之防禦、防禦之失敗、免疫過度反應、自體免疫疾病,最後為免疫系統之操控。其中將穿插以Kuby與Janeway兩本參考書中較新且有趣之免疫發現與實驗內容。
This course is a three-school study that covers the following topics: member and role introduction of immune system, anti- and B cells, T cells and antigen identification, B cells and T cells development, B cells and T cells in acquired immunity (including replenishment systems), body prevention against infection, prevention failure, excessive immune response, autoimmune diseases, and finally manipulation of the immune system. Among them, the newer and more interesting immune discovery and experiment content in the two reference books Kuby and Janeway will be interspersed.
