本課程將廣泛介紹總體經濟問題包括總體所得、就業、利率及通貨膨脹率的決定，課程涵蓋國民所得帳、IS-LM分析模型、菲利浦曲線、古典貨幣理論、公共債務問題及貨幣與財政政策等等。在課程中除了介紹基本的總體經濟理論與模型，並且將輔以台灣、美國及世界各國的實例說明。本課程目標在於期使學生認知當代總體經濟理論，並能分析種種總體經濟事件。This course will provide a broad introduction to general economic issues, including the determination of overall income, employment, interest rates and inflation rates. The course covers national income accounts, IS-LM analytical model, Philip Curve, classical monetary theory, public debt issues, and currency and finance. policies and so on. In addition to introducing basic general economic theories and models, the course will be supplemented by examples from Taiwan, the United States and other countries around the world. The goal of this course is to enable students to understand contemporary general economic theory and be able to analyze various general economic events.
本課程以總體社會之經貿活動為研究對象，由個體最適行為推導出勞動供需、商品供需、貨幣供需、外匯供需及消費、投資等行為函數後，用全面均衡分析法研習各種總體教派（古典、凱因斯、貨幣、新興古典、新興凱因斯及實質景氣循環教派）對總體經濟議題的論述。內容包含就業、所得、物價、利率、匯率、景氣波動、國際收支、經濟成長及政府財金政策的操作與影響。
