總則編為民法之基礎，本課程說明我國民法總則編之原理原則，注重培養對我國法制的瞭解，從學理與實務上學習民法之運用方法。期能使同學熟悉民法總則的基本概念與思維方式，以奠定未來民法其他各編之基礎。
