本課程的主要範圍在討論西方藝術從史前時代到18世紀的巴洛克(Baroque)。授課內容以繪畫史的發展，配合不同時代的文明旁及於建築與雕塑的討論。

The main scope of this course is to discuss Western art from prehistoric times to the Baroque of the 18th century. The content of the course is based on the development of painting history, along with discussions on architecture and sculpture along with civilizations in different eras.
