教育目標 Course Target

本課程除了對研究法作廣泛的介紹外,並加強統計學的基本原則和方法,以及統計學在社會科學的運用,期使同學對統計在研究政治現象所扮演的角色有深入的瞭解。並配合統計軟體的介紹與實作,使學生能夠獨立從事資料分析與報告寫作。In addition to giving a broad introduction to research methods, this course also strengthens the basic principles and methods of discipline and the application of discipline in social sciences, so as to enable students to have an in-depth understanding of the role of discipline in studying political phenomena. And cooperate with the introduction and implementation of the statistical software, so that students can independently conduct data analysis and report writing.


課程概述 Course Description

本課程旨在訓練政治系同學在計量研究上的理論與實務,以便於未來無論在學術上或實務上瞭解社會、政治及經濟現象的本質,並能知道如何針對實際問題,提出研究計畫並實地從事蒐集資料,進一步分析得出結論。本課程主要分為四大部份:經驗研究的基礎;研究的設計與結構;資料的蒐集;資料的統計與分析。
This course aims to train the theory and practice of students in the Department of Political Science in the field of measurement, so that they can understand the essence of social, political and economic phenomena in the future, whether they are academically or practically, and can know how to identify actual problems, propose research plans, and actually collect data from time to time, and draw conclusions from further analysis. This course is mainly divided into four major parts: the foundation of experience research; the design and structure of research; the collection of data; the statistics and analysis of data.
