本課程以化學系化學生物組二年級學生為授課對象，為化學系必修課程。本課程目標在於幫助學生對分析化學原理有一個較完整的概念，及簡介如何將此原理應用於化學或其他相關領域，如生命科學等學科。本課程著重於傳統分析化學、統計分析化學、電化學等基本原理。除了提供學生分析化學領域內重要之化學知識、技術與應用，並期許學生建立科學實驗精度與準度的概念，以奠定日後修習儀器分析之基礎。本課程亦會配合相關之實務介紹，使學生初步瞭解各類儀器的基本原理與其於化學生物學領域內之相關應用，以提升學生學習的興趣。
學習評量的方式包括：一次期中考(佔學期成績的30%)、一次期末考(佔學期成績之30%)，以及數次平常小考與出席狀況(佔學期成績的40%)。
This course is taught to second-year students in the Chemical Biology Group of the Department of Chemistry and is a required course for the Department of Chemistry. The goal of this course is to help students have a more complete concept of the principles of analytical chemistry and an introduction to how to apply these principles to chemistry or other related fields, such as life sciences and other disciplines. This course focuses on the basic principles of traditional analytical chemistry, statistical analytical chemistry, and electrochemistry. In addition to providing students with important chemical knowledge, techniques and applications in the field of analytical chemistry, students are also expected to establish the concepts of precision and accuracy in scientific experiments to lay the foundation for studying instrumental analysis in the future. This course will also be accompanied by relevant practical introductions to enable students to initially understand the basic principles of various instruments and their related applications in the field of chemical biology, so as to enhance students' interest in learning.
The learning assessment methods include: a mid-term exam (accounting for 30% of the semester grade), a final exam (accounting for 30% of the semester grade), and several ordinary quizzes and attendance (accounting for 40% of the semester grade).
