普通化學課程之目標為:
(1) 教導學生基本的化學觀念、化學之原理及基礎理論、以及化學基礎之原理與理論在日常生活範例中之實際應用;
(2) 教導學生化學之專業術語及相關知識,並啟發學生對化學的興趣;
(3) 提高學生對英語教科書的閱讀能力;
(4) 培養學生定期閱讀及熟習課本之習題;
(5) 培養學生獨立解決問題及計算之能力。
The objectives of the general chemistry course are:
(1) Teach students basic chemical concepts, chemical principles and basic theories, as well as the practical application of basic chemical principles and theories in daily life examples;
(2) Teach students professional terminology and related knowledge of chemistry, and inspire students’ interest in chemistry;
(3) Improve students’ reading ability in English textbooks;
(4) Cultivate students to read regularly and become familiar with textbook exercises;
(5) Cultivate students’ independent problem-solving and calculation abilities.
