本課程旨在透過對西洋哲學名著的導讀，除了引導學生了解相關哲學家的思想外，更重要的是培養學生閱讀與分析哲學原典的能力，以奠定日後進一步深入西洋哲學探究的基礎。

This course aims to guide students to understand the thoughts of relevant philosophers through the guidance of Western philosophy masterpieces. In addition to guiding students to understand the ideas of relevant philosophers, it is more important to cultivate students' ability to read and analyze the original philosophical scriptures, so as to lay the foundation for further in-depth exploration of Western philosophy in the future.

本課程是透過對西洋哲學家著作之閱讀，讓同學對基本的哲學問題有所認識，並培養學生之思考習慣及鍛鍊其推理能力。除理論介紹之外，引導同學閱讀文本，增進其分析文本的能力。

This course is to read the works of Western philosophers, so that students can understand basic philosophical problems, and cultivate students' thinking habits and their ability to reason. In addition to theoretical introduction, guide students to read texts and improve their ability to analyze texts.
